Pacific Northwest Artists

This group is designed for Pacific NW artists living in the Pacific NW including the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta (west to the Continental Divide/Rockies) and the States of Washington, Alaska, Yukon Territory, Idaho, Oregon, Northern California (San Francisco & North), Northern Nevada (Reno and North), Wyoming, and Western Montana (Helena and West).

Please see the criteria for submission below.
* Artists who reside in the Pacific NW may submit images of any artwork (the key words here
are 'who reside in the Pacific NW').
* Under special circumstances, artists who reside outside the Pacific NW may submit work, but only if it focuses on the Pacific
NW (the keywords here are 'artists who reside outside the Pacific NW'). You must include the location of your Pacific NW photo.
* Human form is permitted; however, it must be family-friendly and o.k. for viewing in the workplace.

* I do reserve the right to reject artwork that I feel would be offensive or inappropriate.
* Work produced using AI technology needs to be labeled 'Digital-AI' to make it clear the origin of the presented art, regardless of what additions
are made after its production.

Since there are a large number of submissions from PNW residents, only the works that qualify as being created by NW artists will be featured.

HOW IMAGES ARE SELECTED FOR THE FEATURE PAGE:
Images for the Featured Page are chosen using my own creative eye. In addition to the above criteria, I make selections based on work quality, how unique the submission is, and other factors such as color use, composition, and creativity. Various art mediums are accepted to provide diversity. To be fair, I also try to include works from new members to inspire their additional creativity and submissions. On some occasions I will suggest particular themes for the features. Once I learn how to display an image properly, I may select one or two for special featuring.

ARTIST GUIDELINES:
Submit your gallery quality artwork here. Approximately thirty images will be hand-selected every week to be featured on the group home page. Older featured images will be removed. Your promotion for the group will benefit not only you but other group members as well. Help spread the word about this great resource to its intended audience! All images will remain in the main group pages. Featured images can be placed in the designated discussion section for archiving. PLEASE NOTE: if you submit more than two images in a one-week period, even though all of the submissions might be excellent and qualify for featuring, to give everyone a chance to have an image featured, only one or two will likely be selected for featuring.
